Suhail Bahwan Group signs co-operation agreement with Finland's Granlund on energy efficiency software.
Suhail Bahwan Group, one of the prominent business houses of Oman and Granlund of Finland that specializes in design, consultancy and software services on energy efficiency, have signed a significant partner agreement.
The VAR (Value Added Reseller) agreement was signed by Mr. Pekka Metsi, CEO and President, Granlund, Finland and Ms. Amal Suhail Bahwan Bahwan, Vice Chairperson, Suhail Bahwan Group at a ceremony held in Muscat.
Under the agreement, Bahwan IT LLC, one of the flag ship companies of Suhail Bahwan Group, will be marketing Granlund's proprietary software "Granlund Manager" in Oman. Granlund Manager is a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) that helps to save costs and energy in buildings and allows control over building asset data and other related activities.
Ms Amal Bahwan said, "We are glad to be partnering with Granlund, whose core expertise is energy efficiency in built environment. Globally the building sector consumes more electricity than any other sector. As such investing in energy management and efficiency solutions is very important.
